Norm Lewis is an assistant professor at the University of Florida, husband to the nicest woman in the world and proud papa to four children. He received a doctorate in journalism from the University of Maryland in 2007 after 25 years in the newspaper business. He teaches editing and ethics to undergraduates, and media theory and the philosophy of science to doctoral students. His research specialty is plagiarism and newsroom culture. He likes jazz, gardening and bicycle commuting.
In 2010, he was named the Teacher of the Year for the University of Florida.
